Writing is at the core of all the work I've done, be it audio, editorial, communications... the list goes on. Here I've pulled out a few samples of my professional work, which has been featured on Edible Seattle, TimeOut Boston, The Huffington Post, the IDEO blog, and more. For a more exhaustive list, please click on just about everything else linked on this site!
This piece appeared on the cover of Edible Seattle's Sep/Oct 2017 issue. It follows herring evangelist Warner Lew, a fisheries manager who moonlights as a proselytizer for small oily fish. Lew's front row seat to shifting marine ecosystems has made him an advocate for expanding the American palate.
As part of a project with OpenIDEO's End of Life Challenge, I worked with nurses, physicians, conceptual artists, designers, and the bereaved on stories of how we might make a better death. This event, The Nocturnists, invites physicians to share their stories of overnight shifts, when the hospital holds its breath.
